he Medical Center Islamic Society is a group of men, women and children joined together to conserve and promote Islamic culture and teachings in the greater city of Houston Muslims in the United States are a small minority and part of our duty is to help them achieve what other minorities has achieved. Mishkah Center by the MCIS (Medical Center Islamic Society) is also called New Almeda Masjid or Unity Center. Our Masjid is located in the Medical Center of Texas in the city of Houston. This Center is one of the biggest medical centers around the world. We provide services for the Muslim community in our area of Harris County.
